1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the From the Heart CPR website (fromtheheartcpr.org) and any related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Services we provide

From the Heart CPR offers American Heart Association CPR, AED, and First Aid training classes for individuals and groups. Class availability, schedules, and pricing are subject to change.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to register for a class on behalf of yourself or a minor for whom you are the legal guardian. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

4. User accounts

Instructors may access administrative features through a secure account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. User conduct

You agree not to use the site to:

• Provide false or misleading information.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the site.
• Harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

6. Class registration

Registration through the site creates a request for a seat in the selected class. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes as needed. Payment terms, if any, will be presented at checkout.

7. SMS / messaging terms

By providing your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our reservation or contact form, you consent to receive text messages from From the Heart CPR. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you can complete a reservation without opting in.

Types of messages we send: class registration confirmations, deposit and balance reminders, class location details, schedule changes or cancellations, reminders before class (typically 48 hours, 24 hours, and 1 hour prior), and replies to inquiries you send us about class scheduling and availability.

Message frequency varies — approximately 2-5 messages per class registration, depending on your class schedule. Message and data rates may apply.

Opt out and help: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at nikole@fromtheheartcpr.org.

Carrier liability: Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

For details on how we handle opt-in data, see our Privacy Policy. We do not share text messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, images, logos, and course materials, is owned by or licensed to From the Heart CPR. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

9. Disclaimer

Our classes are provided for training and educational purposes. While we follow American Heart Association guidelines, completion of a class does not guarantee employment or certification outcomes. We provide the site and services “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, From the Heart CPR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the site or services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless From the Heart CPR and its instructors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the site or violation of these terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
